Project 365 (april 5-april 12)

Days 95 through 102-

95/365: Daddy’s home!
96/365: Theo discovers chocolate-filled twinkies.  As should you.
97/365: An apple so big your nose will squish.
98/365: Happy Easter
99/365: Matching jammies and matching tractors.
100/365: FAIL
101/365: FAIL
102/365: Our humble little home.
Yep, I missed two more days.  No excuses. Maybe I’m not cut out for commitment!  Well, at least I’m getting these pictures up in the same month they were taken.  It has been a busy week with Easter, getting our house ready to list and normal day to day life.  I’m looking forward to a no-plans kind of weekend.
I just love the picture of Dexter on Easter, is it just me or could he not be a supermodel baby?  Hello? Gerber?  Which is your favorite from this week?

Project 365 (mar 19 – apr 4)

Days 79-94

Fail again.  I don’t know what’s changed, exactly, but the time I have to spend on this blog is withering away.  I’ve had several things I’ve wanted to write about but couldn’t find an hour here or there to sit down and do it.  One thing that has changed is the weather and we’re spending a lot more time outside.  I got to enjoy a nice week off work and we spent as much of it outside as possible.

Another big change is coming.  We’ve been meeting with a realtor and home stager and getting our house ready to list.  Finally.  We’ve only been talking about it since before I knew I was pregnant with Dexter.  We’re finally ready to take the plunge.  Keep your fingers crossed that someone falls in love with our house the way that we did and that we find one we love just as much in perfect timing.

79/365: Happy boy.
80/365: Zoo day and the animals were out!
81/365: A cutie niece and a very sleepy Theo at the park
82/365: More cute niece
83/365: Theo got a B&N giftcard for his birthday and was pretty happy with his selection! A coloring book with crayons.
84/365: Feeding Uncle Joe’s alpacas with Grammy.
85/365: my laundry nightmare. It’s never ending. My couch looks like this most of the time.
86/365: me catching daddy catching Dexter being funny. (See? Laundry is still there, but at least some of it got folded).
87/365: Words with Friends.  Addicted.
88/365: Theo discovers the beauty in driving with the windows rolled down…
89/365: and the red puffy eyes that follow.  Apparently our dear boy has seasonal allergies! 🙁
90/365: Dexter decided to get a mouthful of teeth over a two week period.  Ouch.
91/365: One of our home staging projects completed: Paint the wall in the laundry “room” green.
92/365:  Project 365 FAIL number 2.  I was too busy to take any pictures on Sunday 4/1/12.
93/365: Theo playing with daddy’s video game steering wheel.
93/365: Another home staging project…to hang a mirror over the couch.  And I’m ready for the Pacers game!
94/365: we love coloring!
So that’s what we’ve been up to.  What have you been up to?

project 365 (mar 7-18)

Project 365, days 67-78
67/365: Last day as 1 year old.
68/365: Birthday boy and his cupcake.
69/365: Two year checkup.  36″ tall, 26.7 lbs.
70/365: DQ ice cream cake. YUM!
71/365: A hometown tradition.  Shapiro’s
72/365: Big 2 year and 4 day old boy enjoying the amazing spring weather.
73/365: Foggy Tuesday morning.
74/365: Springtime means pedicures and cute Birkenstocks.
75/365: And the changing of the snowman ceiling fan chain pull to the butterfly.
76/365: Waving at fire trucks during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
77/365: My cousin’s cousin. Pretty Little Jocie.
78/365: Maybe one of my favorite pictures.  Of all time.
I know, I know.  I didn’t do any better this time than before at staying on top of this.  My blog has been neglected lately, but I just haven’t forced myself to sit down and take the time.  I guess you could call this project 365: Theo’s birthday edition.  He had a several days long celebration and we made the most of the big boy’s special day without going over the top.  I still have about 24 bazillion pictures to sort through before I post a photoblog dedicated solely to the festivities, but I’ll get around to it. I think.
I’m on vacation this week.  You’d think that would mean a blog post a day, but nah.  That’s not how it works.  Oddly enough, that just means that I have even less kid-free time to myself because they are never gone to the babysitter or their grandparents.  Our babysitter has been on leave for a few weeks after the birth of her sweet baby so I planned to take this week off, hoping that it would fall into those few weeks she’s off.  It worked out well enough.  I’m excited to have some time off with my babies and my 10 year old niece from Tennessee who is here for her Spring Break.
So, back to business as usual…my favorites this time?  68, 72, 73, and 74…is that not one of the cutest 2 year old boys you’ve seen?  And yes, I love all things SPRING.  And it is here, in full force.  And I think Spring brought a little bit of Summer with him.  I’m not complaining.  I could live the rest of my life in these high 70s temps and the amazing fresh air.
But my very favorite has to be that last picture that I snapped today of Dexter and his daddy being sillies on the couch.  Cause, dude…I love my 3 dudes.
Are you enjoying this amazing Spring weather too?  Which pictures are your favorites? Humor me!
